Meteor Lights’ 2-tier fiberglass shade is one of the most popular and versatile styles for midcentury vintage lamps. The style approximates the traditional narrow top/wide bottom of the ubiquitous cone shade, so it works well on traditional vintage lamp bases, as well as on modern lamps. The wide bottom tier is also ideal for figurine (e.g. chalkware) lamps or other lamp styles that have detail towards the top of the base that might not work with narrower bottom tiers (you want to be sure that the bottom tier doesn’t cover up or smother detail at the top of a figurine base). The 2-tier style works on almost any lamp.

The smaller tiers on our XL 2-tier (and XL reverse 2-tier) lampshades and pendant shades are 13″ diameter. The main tier is 18″ diameter. We can customize the heights on most of our shades to your specifications. Just leave a note in the message box on the order form. Thanks.
Interested in the two tiered fiberglass lamp shade. I like the caramel color for both shades with the arc design in black. I want the shade for a floor lamp that I’ve had for a while. So I’m not really sure of the size I might need. It’s just a regular floor lamp that will sit in a small area of a kitchen dinette corner. Please let me know what you think. Sincerely, Rhea. p.s.
