Nord socket “spiders” for easy installation

Meteor Lights uses 1.625″ diameter (inside dimension) “Nord” washers for our pendant light fixtures and pendant swag lamps, for use with 1.5: diameter threaded phenolic sockets with screwcaps. The washer slips over the socket and is held on securely with the screwcap. The lightweight canopy/cordset/socket light fixture set or the pendant swag set with hangers is easily installed without an obstructive shade swinging back and forth while you’re trying to install it! Once the hardware is up, the shade is easily slipped over the socket and secured with the screwcapOne pair of hands is all that is required, and no special strength is required, only the ability to balance on a ladder.

A further bonus is that you can later easily swap in a different shade if you decide you want to change size, style, color, pattern, etc. And if you then later decide you want to go back to the original, all you need to do is pull the previous one out of storage and replace it on the pendant socket. Easy!
