When fiberglass shades first began large-scale production after WWII, they were primarily OEM parts for the new table and floor lamp designs that were being produced. Vintage fiberglass tiered and drum shades weren’t commonly configured as hanging lamps. Why? We don’t know! But we think they are very cool!
